Missions & Outreach
At CCM we intend to bring God glory by partnering with transformational ministries, of geographies near and far, that deeply and measurably impact both the lives of those being served and those who serve.
I. We use two ‘hands’ to share the Gospel in our goal of seeing people come to Christ.
In response to the Great Commandment mandate to love God and our neighbors (Mt.22:34-40), we actively engage ourselves in the ‘incarnational hand’ by seeking to tangibly meet people’s felt and practical needs – sharing the Good News without words.
In time, we’ve seen that meeting people’s felt needs often opens the door to the ‘proclamational hand’, allowing us or those we serve with, to share the life-changing message of Christ’s provision for us in response to the Great Commission mandate (Mt.28:18-20) to speak the truth and make disciples.
II. While there are innumerable good-works being done by vast numbers of organizations in Jesus’ name, we ask the Lord to guide us to partners that are the best ‘fit’ for us. We are therefore very intentional with our resources, seeking to invest time, money, and other church tools where our passion is greatest with partnerships that generate the greatest possible impact for God’s Kingdom.
IV. Service is the natural response of every follower of Jesus. Every Christian is called and uniquely gifted to serve their neighbor, and therefore we invite your involvement in this response. At CCM we realize that God uses you to help us identify other needs and invite you to bring them to our attention.
III. We use various criteria to assess and audit our partnerships, seeking the greatest return on our investment of resources (ROI = transformed lives). Of primary concern is that programs are developmentally appropriate, that those being served are being equipped, empowered and released to all God intends for them. We support appropriate interdependancies, while working to avoid the creation or sustaining of unhealthy dependencies – and expect our partners to do the same.
Bring your gifts, talents, and passion alongside us to serve those who have needs – across the street or across the globe. The life that changes might be your own.

Dallas Christian College
Welcome to Dallas Christian College, nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). Dallas Christian College strives to meet the educational needs of an increasingly diverse student body and to encourage leadership of churches and Christian organizations.
Since 1950, Dallas Christian College has educated students to Be People of Influence, Under God’s Influence, For a Life of Influence.
Colegio Biblico
Over 60 million Hispanics live in the United States at the present time; most of them still need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Spanish-speaking preachers, evangelists, and Sunday-school teachers are tremendously needed for outreach throughout the United States, not to mention Latin America.
With the support received from churches of Christ, Christian churches, and individuals, Colegio Biblico (Bible College) is preparing Christian workers for the Spanish-speaking world. With 97 percent of its population being Mexican-American, the city of Eagle Pass, Texas where Colegio Biblico is located, provides the right setting for Anglo students to develop Spanish language skills and be exposed to the Mexican culture.
It is my prayer that you will decide to partner with us in furthering the kingdom of God throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

Rapha House
Rapha House is a nonprofit organization committed to ending the trafficking and sexual exploitation of children. Founded in 2003, Rapha House continues to rescue and rehabilitate children, while bringing them to lasting freedom. Love • Rescue • Heal is more than a slogan to us. It’s a way of life at Rapha House.
We are Christians who take seriously the Scripture that reads: “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18). And it is with compassion energized and sustained by love that we act on behalf of victimized children wherever we find them.
Jim & Teri Riley – Honduras
The Riley family has been on the mission field full-time since May 1995. Their mission in Honduras is two fold, Church Planting and Campus Ministry. God has given us the privilege to help start two churches in the capital city of Tegucigalpa. The 2nd church plant will be celebrating 6 years on November 5, 2006. The first church will be completing 15 years in June of 2007. We praise God for letting us be a part of both churches.
Mi Refugio (My Refuge) is a Campus Ministry of the local church (2nd church plant). We have been working with University students all 12 years that we’ve been here. We offer an alternative to the “party” scene on campus, with activities designed for the non-Christian University student and the Christian student alike. Once a month we have a campfire activity, where students come to our house to meet new friends, play games, eat supper, listen to and sing good music, and hear a short devotion that is applicable to their lives. There are also ladies activities, men’s sports outreach, and married couples dinners and seminars. Our goal with the campus ministry is to share Jesus and get students connected with His Body, the Church.
Casas por Christo
Casas por Cristo relies on the labor and resources of full time staff missionaries, a board of over 100 pastors and community leaders from Juárez and Acuña, México and San Raimundo, Guatemala and nearly 7,000 annual volunteers from across North America. Through these cross-cultural partnerships, volunteer teams are presented with an amazing opportunity to build a home for a family in need.
In just one week teams transform an otherwise empty lot into a safe and secure home – complete with cement foundation, electricity, windows and doors. As a result of this experience, each family receives a tangible symbol of the faithfulness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ. As volunteers gain perspective on the extreme poverty that exists in our world, so do these families better understand God’s plan for their lives and His deep desire to take care of their needs.
Cookson Hills Christian Ministries
Since its beginning in 1957, Cookson Hills has offered help, hope, and healing to abused and neglected children and worked with their families to break the cycle of abuse, neglect, dependency, and failure. Set on more than 1,000 acres in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in rural Northeastern Oklahoma, Cookson Hills provides a rustic and rewarding retreat for children requiring out-of-home care.
When families have exhausted the resources of their local church, school, and community and still face a crisis that threatens to overcome the families’ ability to sustain itself, the most likely place to turn is the government-run foster care or the juvenile justice system. Cookson Hills provides an alternative to those families by offering residential care for their child in a family-modeled environment, individual Christian education, vocational training, spiritual formation programs, and specialized therapeutic services.
